Games Series
This work had its roots in several pieces that were made for the ‘Full Spectrum’ exhibition at Sherborne House Gallery in 2006, the culmination of a year in which artists and scientists explored colour in all its aspects.
Continuing this theme I began to play with the notion of opposing systems: Theory versus Chance - Maths versus Me! This led to a concentrated period of work in which I found myself pitched against what felt like very difficult odds, with results that often caused me great surprise.
I likes to feel that in spite of living very controlled lives in todays over prescribed society, the spirit of joyful anarchy will always reassert itself.
